Working around a balky printer
Library Goals for 2005-2006: Catalog all science for all grades and all fiction for grades 5 to 8
Kudos to the library team for not being hung up by a reluctant printer...once figuring out that it was likely more than a cartridge problem and bringing in a local onsite guru who seconded the opinion..they and the guru routed the printing elsewhere in the building...so labels are still being printed and books still being processed to get on the shelf....think of the L-team as the Marines of school libraries - you really don't want to be between them and their mission...
(I have an email into our offsite tech help to get him on the printer problem)

Happy Thankgiving!!! Our new leader is doing a great job! Did you know we had a new leader? Well we do. She took over the beginning of the month. We have discovered the Minuteman Lib. Website so we can get the MARC display for books that don't list the catalog information. We're being very successful. There are several that we can't find so we are leaving them for your expertise. Just wanted to let you know what's up.LM
