Status meeting today with Pastor & Principal
Library Goals for 2005-2006: Catalog all science for all grades and fiction for grades 5 to 8
Wow! CCA has come along way from a few books in a closet two years ago. We have over 1500 books catalogued; a smart and committed group of volunteers and access to the Internet in the library. In the meeting we went over ACSI accreditation requirements for the library and what the next steps would be for each area - catalog, physical space, etc.
We also planned a series of meetings to better help communication between library volunteers and administration.
For the next few weeks, I will processing science donations by assigning subject headings to them; I will have to leave the actual data entry into the catalog for other volunteers due to carpal tunnel problems.
Off to the cataloguing cave now...
