Now putting spine labels on Science books
Two Tasks in the queue now...
There is a pile of Science books on the desk that need to be checked to see if they are in the catalog. If a book shows up in the catalog, shelve it where lives in Science - according to its classification number. If it's not in the catalog, put it on the bookshelf with the clock.
Mrs. Scarpa came in and showed non-fiction what it means to get in shape...thanks Mrs. Scarpa! Today I fine-sorted Science, putting it in order according to our Shelf Listing and checking off the books actually on the shelf. There were a small number MIA (missing in action) - meaning they are in the catalog but not hanging out with the Science books...I will be sending a search party for them if we don't turn them up after we've labeled all... Now the Science books with classification numbers 500 and 590 are ready to be labeled...their labels have been printed - in an order easy to use; the labels are placed on top of the Science bookcase. If there are questions about which book gets which label, check the Shelf Listing. which lives on the desktop.
